The Next Era of Low-Altitude Airspace Sovereignty
1. Who We Are
EYES UP TELAUTOMATICS is an emerging aerospace technology company focused on one of the fastest-growing challenges in modern aviation: understanding and managing activity in the low-altitude airspace environment. We're aiming to pursue our primary mission of establishing:"The Neighborhood Watch of the Sky."Our foundation is deeply inspired by Nikola Tesla's 1898 innovation of telautomatics—the integration of automation, wireless systems, and intelligent coordination. That philosophy continues to guide our work today. We believe the future of airspace awareness should be accessible, scalable, and built with public trust in mind. This is not an incremental improvement to existing systems. We are pursuing a fundamentally different approach to a problem that is only becoming more important with every passing year. If you need proof, look at the $500 million investment into Counter-UAS (cUAS) Systems by the Federal Government in addition to protective measures to ensure safety during the 2026 World Cup.
2. The Opportunity
The rapid expansion of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) has created a new operational reality for schools, university campuses, public venues, critical infrastructure operators, emergency response organizations, and private property owners. As the skies become increasingly active, many organizations lack practical tools that provide meaningful awareness of what is happening within their immediate airspace environment. Existing solutions are often astronomically expensive, difficult to deploy, operationally intrusive, or designed for entirely different use cases. The result is a growing gap between the pace of technological adoption and the ability of organizations to confidently manage the risks, responsibilities, and opportunities associated with that change. We see this challenge not as a limitation, but as one of the most significant opportunities in aerospace technology today.
3. What We Are Building
EYES UP is developing a new category of airspace awareness technology designed to bridge the gap between complex aviation systems and the people responsible for real-world operations on the ground. Our platform combines advanced sensing, intelligent software, and modern user experience design to transform highly technical information into actionable operational awareness. While many organizations recognize the challenge, very few have access to tools designed specifically for their needs. Our goal is to make sophisticated aerospace capabilities practical, understandable, and deployable at scale. The technologies, methodologies, and systems under development remain proprietary, but our mission is straightforward: help organizations gain greater confidence in the airspace above them while supporting the safe integration of emerging aviation technologies.
4. Who We Are Looking For
We are building a small team of exceptional people who want meaningful ownership, real responsibility, and the opportunity to help shape a company from its earliest stages. We are interested in engineers, software developers, aviation professionals, project managers. coders, designers, researchers, and ambitious students who thrive in environments where initiate matters more than titles. This is not a place for spectators. It is a place for builders. The people who join EYES UP will have the opportunity to work directly on real-world aerospace challenges, contribute to technologies with national-scale potential, and help define the future of an entirely new market category. If you are motivated by difficult problems, rapid learning, and the chance to create something that could have a lasting impact on aviation, we would like to hear from you.
Current Stage
EYES UP is currently operating in its early development phase. While most opportunities at this stage are volunteer, research, internship, or project-based collaborations, we are not simply looking for short-term contributors. We are actively seeking individuals who want to help build something meaningful over the long term. As the company grows, demonstrates market validation, and secures additional resources, high-performing contributors may have opportunities to transition into paid positions, advisory roles, board participation, or other long-term strategic positions within the organization.Still Interested?Right now we are screening applicants who may be a strong fit for the first development phase of the EYES UP initiative called Project Knob Hill. If you believe your background, skills, or perspective could contribute to our mission, we invite you to complete the interest and vetting questionnaire below.Selected candidates will be invited to continue the conversation and meet fellow professionals accepted into the project on our private Basecamp workspace. Here we will discuss upcoming objectives, team structure, and opportunities for deeper involvement.
